BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The enabling Edict provides for a board of Directors to serve as the governing body and be responsible for policy, control and management of the Authority.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

The Edict also provide for a management team to be headed by a General Manager who is charged with the direction and day- day business and organization of the Authority as well as control of all employees of the Authority. He is the Chief Executive.

The office of the secretary to the Authority is also provided for by the Edict. His Duty is to co- ordinate the business of the Board in addition to other functions as may be delegated to him by the General Manager.

The Edict mindful of the need for internal control and checks in the system provided for the internal Auditor.

For effective discharge of its responsibilities, the Authority has six functional Departments and two Unit headed by well qualified professionals

They include:

  • Estate Department
  • Projects Department
  • Planning, Research and Statistics Department
  • Legal Department

This is the engine room of the Authority
as it coordinates the activities of all
the Departments and specialized units

This is our main function as we are
incharge of the management of all properties
in the Government Estates and abandoned
properties until their titles are processed
and granted to all allotees.

This Department is vested with the
responsibility to advice on measures
right from inception to completion
stage of a project in collaboration
with other professionals, such as Architects,
Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors,
and Building Supervisors, etc.

The planning, Research & Statistics Department
has the pivotal role of rendering diverse range
of services to all other departments. It serves
as data bank for management in the area of
policy formulation, monitoring, evaluation
and implementation.

The Accounts Department maintains the account
of the Authority and Audit the account on yearly
basis. The audited account are normally
prepared by State and External Auditors and
submitted to the State Auditor-General for
clearance

This Department was created at RSHPDA
to handle all legal related matters and
provide legal advisory role to the Authority.
